Khloe Kardashian Wears GOOD AMERICAN GOOD WAIST Jeans

Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star, Khloe Kardashian, stopped by The Imagine Center for some spiritual healing in Los Angeles, California. She recently welcomed her first baby into the world, True, so we haven’t seen her on the blog lately, but she hasn’t wasted any time getting back into shape though by the looks of these photos.

Since Khloe launched her denim brand, GOOD AMERICAN, a while ago, we have seen her exclusively in the brand and she hasn’t opted to wear any other denim since. I think that’s amazing because it proves she’s passionate about the jeans and loves how they fit her. For this outing, she chose to wear the GOOD AMERICAN GOOD WAIST Raw Edge Skinny Jeans in Black044 which she styled with a black wrap silk shirt and some Christian Louboutin Pigalle Heels in Black.

Over the years we have seen Khloe’s style change dramatically, just like we did with Kim’s, and she’s gone from dressing mostly casual and quite garish at times, to looking chic and sophisticated at every sighting. I love the way she dresses now and I enjoy seeing all the different GOOD AMERICAN Jeans that she styles on numerous occasions. There’s so many washes to choose from that it’s endless with the combinations, but she always manages to look classy.

These GOOD AMERICAN GOOD WAIST Raw Edge Skinny Jeans in Black044 are quite cool though. We usually see grey or washed black in a plain, solid wash, or with ripped knees, but Khloe took these one step further and decided to have rips as well as slashes around the knees, and some rips further up the thighs too, so they remind me of a more subtle version of the FRAME Le Rip Jeans that were extremely popular a few years ago.

I like the addition of the raw hem though as I think it suits the black pieces nicely, as the casual wash helps to tone it down a little bit and stop it from looking too evening appropriate. I love how a pair of jeans can do that and help you go from dressed up to dressed down in a matter of minutes, just by changing a few pieces, or adding in rips/distressing to the denim itself. Are you a fan of GOOD AMERICAN or have you still not tried them yet? As they’re not available in the UK or on any of the US based stores I use, I still haven’t tried them, but I’ve heard good things. As always, let us know what you think of this look on Khloe Kardashian as well!

The jeans are OK. Not wild over them. It might be the color. Kind of bland grey. But the rips do help. They seem to be geared toward large women and I’ve got skinny hips and am thin. Though they do offer smaller size. The other problem is that their name is misleading and they are not made in the U.S. I only buy American made jeans. My taste run more to Frame, 3X1 and Rag & Bone. The funny part is that all three of those brands are British companies that make jeans in Los Angeles and New York City.

Those are 3 very good brands! Are you a fan of COH or AG too? They make great denim! Yeah Khloe’s line is very much for the curvier women, but I haven’t tried them so I can’t comment too much. Thanks for your comment!

Yes. I’m a fan of COH! I do like their variety of styles without dwelling on the Skinnys too much. They offer the “Slim” cut (which not too many of the other places offer) I acturally don’t like AG as much as I did. I don’t like what they did to their denims. Too much of the Skinny (like J. Brand) and the denim in some cases feel like leggings. They have very pretty colors though. Better, I think is Golde label. About the Made in America brand. That Good American label claims they are made in the U.S. but all their sources (cotton, zippers, etc) are imported. I think they sew the cut pieces together here. I won’t buy 3rd world jeans lke Old Navy, H & M or Gap. That’s Fast Fashion, & I hate that. I’m willing to pay the extra money for good quality jeans. 3X1 makes everything from scratch in Soho, New York City. Love the Jean Blog!!!!

There is an even more expensive brand I’d llike to try. It’s called Moussey. They average over $300.00 a jean. They are Japanese and Japanese denim are just about the best in the world.

I know Moussy, they have some seriously amazing washes! I look at them on Shopbop and am in awe of them, but my issue with them is the majority are 100% cotton and I just can’t wear it as it’s too restrictive for me. 3×1 are great though, I have a couple of theirs! I’m definitely a skinny girl, I’m quite small and have small legs so skinny works best for my frame. I am actually doing a blog post soon on a round up of straight fit jeans though!

Looking forward to reading more! You know your jeans! . I have one 100% cotton jean. It took me nearly a week before it began to fit me. I’m small too. I take a 25 in jeans. Cotton is the only fabirc that saturates color so well. Those 100% jeans are gorgeoous in color and comfort. My next goal is to find a good Moussey! I still love skinnys, but I started to get tired of them. I now love slim and straight jeans.
