My find of the week this week goes to the Moussy MV Repair Tapered Jeans in Blue. I saw these on Shopbop last week and thought the design of them was incredibly cool. They have patched shredded holes which add a deconstructed touch to the jeans. Featuring slant hip pockets and a patch back pocket, they are unique and quirky. They also have a button fly which gives them a vintage appearance and feel, especially since they’re made from a 100% cotton denim which was imported from Japan.
I’ve never tried Moussy Jeans before and I am fairly new to the brand, but now that I have seen how gorgeous their jeans are, I am definitely a fan. This specific pair features a 8.75 inch rise, an inseam of 27.25 inches, and a leg opening of 11.75 inches, all taken on a size 27. They do retail for quite a lot at $438, but with the amount of detailing gone into these jeans and the pretty different patches behind the rips and holes, I can see why they do have a higher price point. I really do like the missing back pocket too though, it’s like an incredibly old pair of jeans which have been worn to within an inch of their lives. Do you like these Moussy Jeans? I would love to hear your opinion!
