Styling Dickies Women’s Jeans + New Styles

The Jeans Blog has collaborated with well known global brand, Dickies, yet again to share with you their women’s denim and how it can be worn. We all know Dickies, that was established in our men’s Dickies post that we did a while ago, so it was only fair that we do the women’s too. To make things even better as well, they’re running a 30% discount at the moment and that’s on their jeans too!

The brand has some great, affordable denim in various different cuts, and even though they have a reputation for being more of a work wear brand, their women’s jeans can transition over into daytime/evening wear too. I’ve noticed that the Western wear trend is huge lately and that’s not just because country music is on the rise, but because the plaid shirts, jeans, and boots combination is very fashionable.

For this collaborative post, I wanted to share with you 5 different key jeans styles that Dickies have and how I’ve styled two of them in a Western way, which is extremely fashionable. I think the Dickies jeans suit that vibe the most in my opinion. That classic indigo wash and slouchier fit reminds me of the southern states and even though I am from the UK myself, being that I’m from the countryside, I connect with that easily. So lets check it out!

For this first outfit, I went with a slim straight jean which have an almost skinny feel to them. I thought they would be great to style for a daytime, casual outfit that’s still quite dressed up. I chose a simple blue and grey plaid shirt, a brown belt, some brown boots with a block heel, some funky sunglasses, and a brown casual bag to go with it. I could see something like this being worn around town, shopping, or even out at the bar in the evening. It’s comfortable, easy wearing, but still quite smart at the same time.

And for the second look, I chose a bootcut jean to dress up for the evening. I went with a clean white button up shirt, some black heeled ankle boots, a Gucci brown belt, some brown sunglasses, and a tan satchel, all finished off with a bright red lip. I can definitely see something like this being worn for a date night, dinner out in the evening, or even to a party. Who says you have to wear a dress? Jeans are just as much of a staple. I love a look like this one! It’s so chic and structured.
