Gucci Embroidered Stained Denim Jacket
Gucci is literally at the forefront of designers right now. They exploded into the limelight when designer Alessandro Michele took over the reigns and re-branded their designs. Gucci went from a more mature brand with their monogram on everything to something that all the cool kids in school wanted to be rocking with the outlandish, fun, embroidered designs.
Not only is it the brand to watch every single month now because of the awesome new pieces being released, but Gucci are also making headlines with their announcement that in 2018 they are no longer using fur in their brand new collections. This is absolutely incredible news! It comes not too far along after Net-A-Porter banned the sale of fur on their website, so designers are following on! I was ecstatic when I heard this news!
With all of that in mind and how much of a pillar of credibility Gucci is becoming, it made sense to share with you the latest embroidered denim from them. I did a roundup of the new Gucci embroidered denim for SS17 before, but there’s a few new pieces out right now too so I thought I would include 6 new embroidered denim items to share with you – and they’re gorgeous!
I’ve showcased 2 denim jackets, 2 black skinny jeans, 1 cropped flare, and a denim skirt. All of these feature such intricate hand-sewn embroidery on them (with some emblazoning the back like you’ve never seen before – see the last one!) that you can’t help but stare and be mesmerised. That’s the one thing that I love about Gucci embroidery on their denim – not only do they make the washes really pretty (like the jacket above), but they also care about the perfection of the embroidery itself.
