I saw these photos of Paris Jackson doing some vintage shopping in Los Angeles, California and I thought it would be a good idea to share them given my recent blog post. If you are a regular reader, you might remember my post called ‘do you still wear bootcut & flared jeans? and the general consensus was that flared jeans are out, as are bootcut, so I wonder if Paris got the memo?
Paris styled her light blue flared jeans with some sunglasses, a tied Gucci t-shirt, a leather Gucci belt, and some green sandals, finished off with some jewellery. She really does have a cool personal style, very suited to LA, and I suppose when you’re dressing with a theme like boho chic, you can get away with wearing more outdated styles of jeans as it goes with the hippy vibe. What’s your opinion though? Do you think they look good or would skinny jeans have been better?

I think they look great on her! I always say, wear what you want, who cares about trends 🙂
Personally though, I am still quite addicted to my skinny jeans!

I’m with you Lana, skinnies all the way and twice on Sunday!! Equally, if you love your flares, who else should care?
I think she looks good. Maybe we want to wear something that everyone else is NOT wearing. I didn’t realized boot cut jeans were out and flares?. I have some skinnies but I’m tired of them at the moment and on to other types of pant, at least for awhile.

I think that happens as you get bored of wearing one thing over and over, but I still love my skinny jeans so much!
It might not be on trend, just like how men’s bootcut jeans are out of style. However, if the jean designers make new editions of flares and bootcut jeans with modern design, it will still sell. Personally I like some women’s bootcut jeans whenever I don’t want it so knee and ankle tight. I do have a flare jean from savers, but I try to go retro when I wear those. I don’t wear them often though, mostly a skinny jeans and legging guy here.
