Find Of The Week: Tortoise Savanna Slim Straight Jeans

Tortoise Savanna Rigid Cropped Jeans in Two Tone Ozone

Our Find of the Week this week is on the new Tortoise Savanna Rigid Cropped Slim Straight Jeans in Two Tone Ozone which are so pretty! It’s not often that I find a pair of jeans now which are a trend item and I really like them, but these I do! I think the gorgeous wash on both sides is what makes me like them. It blends in perfectly together and they’re both designed to look authentic and worn in, almost like a sun fade on the one side. How cool is that?

These jeans are made in the USA from 100% cotton and have a ankle length, slim fit. They feature a button fly on a 8.75″ rise, have an inseam of 26.5″ and a leg opening of 11″ so you can get a good idea of what type of cut these are. They have minimal features so the back pockets are plain, there’s three belt loops on the back, little denim tabs which button to keep the cuff held up at the hem, and distressed areas all over for that worn in vibe.

Since I became familiar with Tortoise last year, I’ve seen a lot of amazing jeans that I would love to add to my collection – these included. Celebs like Hilary Duff are even a fan. Even though I’m not a huge lover of the 100% rigid denim when it’s in a skinny fit, I would definitely make an exception for these. I’m fascinated by the Two Tone Ozone wash in the sense that you don’t even see where one side starts and one side ends. I can tell a great deal of time was spent on perfecting these to make the washes seamless, but to also maintain the authentic whiskering detailing as well. My hat goes off to Tortoise for these jeans! Are any of you a fan of the brand? Or what do you think of this specific pair?

I love to wear my denim ankle-length sometimes. I don’t have a Tortoise yet, but this one looks like a good start 🙂
