Our find of the week this week is on the new DL1961 Margaux Instasculpt Ankle Skinny Jeans in Lowell. These just recently came in stock on Shopbop and instantly caught my eye. After seeing countless jeans that are crazy, a pair with some normality and beauty to them was a sight for sore eyes (yes that’s a compliment, not an insult, as I recently found out!).
The DL1961 Margaux Instasculpt Jeans are made from a 91% cotton, 7% polyester, 2% lycra spandex combination, making sure they are super stretchy and retain their shape well. They’re an ankle length skinny that comes with a 8.75″ rise, a 28.25″ inseam, and a 9.5″ leg opening, so you an see that they’re super skinny and more of a mid-rise.
The thing that attracted me to these DL1961 Jeans though was the Lowell wash. It’s pretty isn’t it? I loved the medium blue with the deep undertones and subtle whiskering and fading, making it look aged, but I was most attracted to the distressing at the knees. One knee is really blown out while the other is more minimal, but both of them still have the white threads left so they’re not just open holes. Combined with the raw hem and little abrasions, these jeans are really impressive!
