Find Of The Week: Diesel Thavar Leather Patchwork Jeans

For our Find of the Week this week, I wanted to do something for the guys and choose something incredible cool! One of the Diesel fans posted these on the community and I thought they needed to be shared. How amazing are they? These are the Diesel Reboot Black Thavar 100 Leather Patch Jeans with Zipped Cuffs. They aren’t available to buy online anymore, and these are on an eBay shop, so you need to check out the listing, but I imagine they are going to go quite high! They are already at $250!

These Diesel Jeans are from the DIESEL TRIBUTE capsule collection that Nicola Formichetti continues to revisit, bringing back the heritage of Diesel. These Thavar Jeans are from the leather collection – using leather from Diesel’s archives to create something cool, highlighting the rebellious spirit. I think they captured this well as they literally covered an entire pair of jeans with the back leather patches that go on all Diesel jeans.

I imagine they must be incredibly stiff as the patches on denim would make them thick, but as a statement pair of jeans or a collectors piece, I can imagine them being highly sought after. They even feature zippers on the inseams at the ankles to give you a different look if you want your boots to show. I can safely say that I have never seen a pair of jeans like this, ever. Have you? The inspiration and creativity behind Nicola himself is astonishing and it never fails to amaze me. These are truly a magnificent work of art and I can’t wait to see what price these Diesel Thavar Leather Patch Jeans reach! Any guesses?
