As you know we are talking a lot about Autumn fashion at the moment and the denim trends for Fall 2014, but one denim trend that I didn’t include in my previous round up of 10 was metallic jeans. They often pop up here and there as a trend that doesn’t last too long, usually having their peak around the holidays and Christmas, purely because of the glitz and glamour they posses. However, one denim brand that has released their take on metallic jeans for Fall is Paige Denim, and it’s not just a couple of styles either, it’s a full blown metallic collection!
Paige has come out with multiple metallic coated skinny jeans in her famous and most popular Verdugo cut for the coming season. The colours include violet, copper, blue, black and charcoal, but she also released a classic blue denim with blue metallic knee patches as well as a black denim with copper metallic knee patches. How cool are those? We recently saw the gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in her blue metallic Indio skinnies from Paige, in which she looked gorgeous, but I can’t wait to see her and other celebs in some of these other colours! Hi Lorna just wondering if any male celebs have worn these or can guys pull off the metallic skinny jeans look? Although metallic are more of a holiday season look it’s probably something that hasn’t been touched upon in this blog like skinny coated jeans on guys have been brought up before.

I haven’t seen any wearing coloured metallic, but I know Zac Efron likes the Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette, which is a coated waxed black that looks similar to leather. I’ve spoken about that in the male celebs wearing women’s jeans article. But no, not seen any in metallic colours before. I will keep a look out! I think you can wear them if you have the confidence though, but keep in mind these metallics are often very stiff and not stretchy, they run smaller, that’s what I’ve found.
