Model and reality TV star, Kendall Jenner, was spotted heading out to dinner with her sister, Kylie, at the famous sushi restaurant, Nobu, a few days ago. Isn’t her new short haircut just lovely? Everyone has been cutting their hair much shorter lately (I personally made the chop a year ago and haven’t looked back) and it’s really catching on.

Getting to Kendall’s outfit, she is absolutely loving her Citizens of Humanity Liya Jeans! She has multiple pairs of them in different washes, but this pair here is her Liya Shadow Pocket Jeans in Torn. I have the normal, non shadow pocket, version of these jeans and I adore them so much. They are such a fantastic, vintage inspired, mom jeans fit, which is ideal.

Kendall styled her Citizens of Humanity Liya Jeans with a simple grey t-shirt, which she layered with a gorgeous black leather biker jacket and some black leather ankle boots. I think this outfit is fantastic, in a simple, yet styled way. It suits Kendall perfectly, and not only does she really know how to dress, the way she chooses to wear these Liya jeans in a tight fit is perfect. What do you think of her look?

I love that Citizens of Humanity have brought out different styles including selvedge, classic and shadow pocket Liya’s in the same washes. It’s ideal for everyone as we all want something unique and different! If you love Kendall’s style and the Liya, you can buy the regular Citizens of Humanity Liya in Torn online at Shopbop.com or all Liya styles at their own website. I just can’t get enough of this outfit.

Hi! Do you maybe have a review of the Liya’s in Torn? I saw your review of the Liya fade out, and was just wondering if the 2 fit exactly the same? I wear a size 26 in the Rocket, and was thinking of getting a 26 in the Liya as well. Looking for a more tight fit. Did you size up because of the style, or was the 26 too small?

Hi! I don’t have a review of them in Torn, but I own both and did an outfit post of them on my personal style blog here http://raindropsofsapphire.com/2016/04/05/mom-jeans-and-liya/

The Liya in Torn runs bigger than the Fade Out as the denim is a lot lighter and thinner, so I could definitely fit a 26 in them. If you want them as a slimmer fit and are a true to size 26 in Rocket, I would say go for the Torn in a 26 as it should fit pretty well. I did hear someone had some issues with sizing though as she got 2 pairs in different sizes that fitted different, I think maybe a miss-tagged pair? But mine are just fine! Are you getting them from Shopbop? https://www.shopbop.com/liya-high-rise-classic-fit/vp/v=1/1549344491.htm

Thanks for the reply! Yes I want to get them from Shopbop. Just so scared about the sizing, since I live in Taiwan and returning them would be a mission. What size are you wearing in the torn? If it runs bigger, maybe I should go with a 25. But I’m so scared it will be too small. Maybe the 26 is a better option. I just don’t want it to be too baggy/boyfriend.. If you know what I mean 🙂

I have both the Torn and the Fade Out in a 27, and I vary between a 26/27 in Rockets, depending on the material. Which Rocket washes are you a 26 in? 🙂

              I haven’t tried that wash so I can’t be 100% on it, sorry 🙁
