Gigi Hadid Wears R13 Double Classic Denim Skirt Jeans

Supermodel, Gigi Hadid, got into a waiting car in Milan, Italy after leaving the Moschino and Fendi showrooms during Milan Fashion Week. She didn’t look too happy to see the paparazzi following her as she had some fittings for the runway shows. It must be extremely stressful being around them all the time though, I saw Gigi was pranked a few days ago and actually picked up by someone. Poor girl.

Gigi wore a pair of the newer R13 Double Classic Denim Skirt Jeans with a fluffy brown sweater and some slip on flats for the day. Now where do we start with these jeans? They have caused so much controversy with their style, but R13 is always on the forefront of creating unique designs. They already have their denim and leather chaps, their cross over skinny jeans and harem pants, plus inventive plaid, and shirt around the waist impression jeans, so it comes of no surprise to me to see they are layering a denim skirt over them too.

These R13 Double Classic Denim Skirt Jeans come with a 9.75 inch rise, an inseam of 16.5 inches, and a leg opening of 15.75 inches. They combine multiple trends in one as well as you have the mom jeans fit with the shredded, uneven hemline which is extremely popular, but then they layered an asymmetric denim skirt over the top in the same wash, also with a raw hem.

The more I look at these jeans, the more intricate I can see they are. I of course wouldn’t be able to wear these myself as I wouldn’t pull them off, but I think Gigi Hadid is rocking them with so much confidence, she makes them look good. What are your thoughts on this denim trend? Do you hope it catches on or not? I know R13 have released a pair of jeans similar with a much longer denim skirt over the top (here) but this particular pair that Gigi had on sold out extremely fast, much to everyone’s surprise.
