Levi’s are always innovative and fun when it comes to their denim, but they’re always a brand that remains classic, wearable, and true to their heritage. How do you mix both of those together? With the new Levi’s Palm Print of course! Using a great vintage wash and 100% cotton, they have created a denim jacket and a pair of shorts which are made current using a gorgeous palm tree embroidery to liven things up.
Embroidered denim is a huge trend at the moment and everyone from premium denim and designers to high street labels are jumping on the bandwagon. Gucci and Tommy Hilfiger get the blame here for making it so popular and creating an embroidered denim storm, but Levi’s has wearable and affordable options.
The denim shorts are much like a pair of vintage Levi’s 501 cut offs, boasting a worn in and well bleached blue which looks like it came from the 80’s, complete with a raw hem, while the denim jacket has an oversize fit and a chopped off bottom to it, very reminiscent of the 90’s, in the same sort of wash. Both of these pieces are complete with the green and yellow palm tree embroidery on either side, making them symmetrical, young, and quirky. I can see so many celebs wearing these pieces!
