Supermodel Kendall Jenner posed for photos at the “Fashion for Relief” Charity Gala which was held during the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. I know people go bold and big with their looks for this event and this outfit couldn’t have been better for it. It’s statement making, but easy at the same time. It’s hard to get that combination right most of the time.
Kendall wore a full outfit by Alexandre Vauthier from his Spring 2017 collection, so her cute high waisted denim shorts and the top with a train are both by that designer. She finished off her outfit with some black pumps and a statement necklace. I love this so much! Not only are the shorts a fantastic fit with a beautiful wash, but they really help complete the outfit and take it from dramatic to chic.
When it comes to award shows, red carpet events, or movie premiers, I often love seeing the outfits that the celebrities put together. I’m not over familiar with Alexandre Vauthier myself as he’s an Haute Couture designer, but it always gives designers a chance to dress the celebrities and get their pieces in the limelight. With street style or candids that we often see of Kendall, she’s wearing more causal and dressed down pieces, so it’s really nice seeing her dress up a pair of denim shorts in such an extravagant way that wouldn’t necessarily be suitable for daytime wear. What do you think of this outfit on Kendall?
