The brand new Fall 2014 Look Book collection from Paige Denim has been released and it’s amazing! I personally saw the new styles in London a couple of months ago and thought they were so unique and innovative. In a time where a lot of denim brands are drifting more towards the classics now, Paige has ventured into metallic colours, plaid patchwork, bright red and green as well as leathers. This is also Paige’s first full collection for Fall/Winter 2014, including her dresses, pants, skirts and jackets, however since this is a jeans blog, I have only included the denim and leather pieces.
Entitled ‘Turning The Paige’, Creative Director Paige Adams-Geller is thrilled to announce her new collection, completing the ultimate cool girl wardrobe with an offering of sleek, elevated, and detail-oriented pieces. The famed label’s expansion offers additions that are the perfect counterpart to the brand’s beloved denim. From lived in leather blazers to ultra-soft tops made from the finest materials, Paige designed a cohesive collection that can be styled both separately and together for an effortless look. “The time was right to expand and offer pieces that accented our denim designs,” says Adams-Geller. “We wanted to create the perfect closet of elevated essentials that could be worn from morning to moonlight using the best materials and chicest silhouettes.”
Paige herself spent much of the past year traveling all over the world, returning with the inspiration to design an assortment of essentials that are just as versatile as they are chic. Meant for the jet-setters and city girls, Paige curated memorable staples that can go to any city, for any occasion. Soft textures, brushed fibers and subtle details balance out the edgy styling and dark color palette for a sleek yet feminine look. Paige and her design team experimented with angular seams, moto-esqe stitching, mixed media and innovative fabrics to create multi-dimensional garments that truly stand out.
Even though I mentioned above that Paige has ventured away from just the classics, she of course has them as part of her collection, featuring gorgeous blue and black skinny jeans with rips and distressing. I even adore the brand new first stretch leather Edgemont pants! How amazing are those? I can see many celebrities falling in love with them and making an appearance here on The Jeans Blog! Not to mention the plaids are stunning! It’s a collection worth waiting for and I have to say that Paige always manages to outdo herself each season, her new designs get better and better as the months go by! Wouldn’t you agree? It was a proud time for me when I did my collaboration Lorna jeans with Paige (who is still a great friend and lovely person) and I couldn’t be more happy for her, the expansion is incredible.
