Selena Gomez had some fun while out with friends for some lunch at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Los Angeles, California last week. Selena wore a pair of the J Brand Maria High-Rise Super Skinny Jeans in After Dark with a simple white t-shirt and some croc print slip ons.
Selena actually customised these jeans as she chopped the hems off into crops and frayed them a little bit. I remember when dark indigo washed jeans in the pedal pusher style (cropped to this length) were all the rage back in the 90’s and the early 00’s. They were a style that I often wore myself and thought looked really cool, but looking back on it (as we all do), I cringe when I see the photos, ha ha.
I think Selena did an amazing job at making the J Brand Maria in After Dark look incredibly current and fashionable though. There’s a hint of retro there, but it looks cute and even though it’s a completely simple outfit which has the J Brand Jeans as the focal point, I think Selena customised them well.
