PAIGE Fall 2017 Ad Campaign Starring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
PAIGE and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have teamed up yet again and are excited to unveil the brand new Fall 2017 Ad Campaign! Building off of the success of their creative collaboration from the past five seasons (I thought it had been longer!), the duo set out to capture a slightly edgier and more rock-n-roll vibe for these photos. Shot at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood by Naj Jamai, the Fall ad campaign yields six photographs that embody the PAIGE brand from head-to-toe.
For this shoot, Rosie set up shop in one of the Chateau’s bedroom suites and got hair and makeup ready to music by Rihanna. She was joined by her go-to stylist Cher Coulter (she’s styled every campaign between both Paige and Rosie so far), hair guru Christian Wood, and makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua. Paige, Rosie, and Cher styled looks with the Chateau in mind so you can see a silk paisley top, velvet skinnies, a leather jacket with a shearling collar, an oversized striped poplin menswear shirt worn off-the-shoulder, and more all paired back to the brand’s signature denim throughout the images. Hair and makeup was kept simple so her looks could take her from day-to-night.
Jamai and Paige Adams-Geller directed Rosie in various shots all over the Chateau Marmont property. How cool is that? The first look of the day was shot by the outdoor pool, which is surrounded by gardens and a large sun patio. The next shot was in the Bar Marmont, which boasts a dark and moody vibe with velvet couches, intimate dining, and gorgeous chandeliers. The final setting for the third and fourth images took the model inside of one of the iconic penthouse suites with just enough time to capture the golden hour glow on the private wraparound terrace.
Usually, whenever we see a PAIGE campaign or look book, we can expect that LA, Boho chic vibe which is always so carefree and easy going, with sunsets and a desert vibe to it. This is completely different and the juxtaposition between the two is incredible. For a PAIGE campaign, I think it’s really stepped into new territory and embraced the edgier vibe that fashion has turned towards lately. It’s quite exciting! I know this is supposed to be about the denim, but I have to say I am loving that leather jacket!
