Shopbop Launches The Principle Denim Collection

The Jeans Blog has some brand new and exciting news! One of the best online stores for premium denim, Shopbop, has teamed up with some of the world’s leading jeans designers to present The Principle Collection, which is an exclusive, curated collection born from Shopbop’s extensive knowledge of denim and an obsession with the perfect fit. How amazing is that?

They have come up with a 15 piece denim collection and have collaborated with 3×1, AG, BLANK Denim, Citizens of Humanity, Current/Elliott, FRAME, J Brand, McGuire, MiH, MOTHER, Paige Denim, R13 and Rag & Bone. Designing fits for everyone, ranging from cropped skinnies, faux leather, pencil legs, flares, cropped flares, trousers, boyfriend fits and more, this collection couldn’t be more classic if it tried.

I think it’s amazing and I’m really happy to see them taking on denim from a passionate point of view. I especially adore the BLANK Vegan Leather, the Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans, the R13 Jeans and of course the cropped AG Legging. These are all jeans I would love to be adding to my extensive denim collection! You can see each jeans cut below along with styling tips and information on them and you can shop the entire Principle Denim Collection online at Shopbop.

Rag & Bone/JEAN The Principle Pencil Leg – It’s really, really hard to try and think of a single thing this timeless, mid-rise slim fitting pair of jeans won’t go with.

Citizens of Humanity The Principle Girlfriend Jeans – Narrow yet loose, this feminine style offers a relaxed, modern fit for when you want to step it up – but not too much.

BLANK Denim The Principle Mid Rise Vegan Leather Skinny – Downtown edge meets a liquid-sleek fit. Let this vegan leather pair balance out everything from oversized knits to draped silk button-downs.

MOTHER The Principle Straight Leg Jeans – With a nipped waist, straight-leg cut, and go-with-everything wash, these are just like the perfect vintage pair of jeans you’ve been searching for – only new.

AG The Principle High Rise Skinny Ankle Jeans –  Everything they’ve ever looked for in a go-to skinny jean: a high rise, super skinny leg, and versatile medium wash.

McGuire The Principle Flare Jeans – An expertly faded hue means that their lean flares work perfectly for day. Wear them with simple classics, like easy tees, blazers, and suede ankle booties.

Paige The Principle Transcend Slim Boot Jeans – The  night-out  jeans you have been craving. Paige’s timeless boot-cut style is at once chic, relaxed, and unexpectedly alluring (especially when worn with heels). Also comes in a petite version.

R13 The Principle Mid Rise Skinny Jeans – Everything Shopbop have ever looked for in a go-to skinny jean: Maybe it’s the just-right wash, the meticulous fit, or the fact that they want to top them with a striped tee. Whatever it is, there’s something so French-cool about this effortless pair.

3×1 The Principle Crop Micro Flare Jeans –  Slim, cropped, and with a slight flare, their version of the it girl-loved kick-flare jean is equal parts throwback and feminine.

J Brand The Principle Trouser Jeans – Is there anything chicer than these tailored denim trousers? With a crisp button-down and pumps, you can (maybe) even get away with wearing them to work.

MiH The Principle Super Flare Jeans –  This latest take on MiH’s cult-favorite flares features a high waist and dramatic belled legs. The result is ’70s cool and ultra flattering. Also comes in petite.

Current/Elliott The Principle Boyfriend Jeans – Their dream boyfriend pair is slouchy, but not overwhelming, effortless yet pulled together, and so comfortable you’ll think you’re wearing sweats.

FRAME The Principle Paper Bag Trouser – Worn with a thin, tucked-in sweater or cropped top, Frame’s slouchy paper-bag-style jeans do two things: make a statement and totally cinch your waist.
