Skinny Jeans For Muscular Legs On Guys

skinny-jeans-for-muscular-athletic-legs

There are a lot of guys out there who love to hit the gym and work on their physique, or guys that love muscular building sports and it leaves them with very muscly legs. This can sometimes be a problem with the trends in jeans being mainly skinny, so I thought it might be a good idea to write up a post outlining some of the perfect skinny jeans for muscular thighs on men.

You don’t have to try and squeeze into a pair of super skinny jeans to fit in with the crowd if your legs just wont do it. Not everyone can wear skinny jeans like Zac Efron and Russell Brand can. I’ve seen some mentally scarring images that wont leave my head of moments like these, so I definitely don’t want you subjecting yourself to such torture!

As you probably already know (since you searched for jeans for muscly legs), finding skinny jeans on the high street in shops like Topman or Urban Outfitters can be difficult as they are mainly cut for the skinny men or guys with slim legs. This often causes a lot of trouble trying to get them on and it also makes most guys opt for baggier jeans instead, making them sacrifice the look they wanted. So, these are some of my tips that you should look for when finding the perfect skinny jeans for muscular legs.

Fit – Loose Tapered and Slim Carrot

This is extremely important. Since your legs are going to be quite well built around the thigh area, you don’t want to suction them into a tube skinny. The best fit you need to look for in a skinny is a loose tapered one. This is similar to a carrot fit jean, but without the extreme dropped crotch. So a looser tapered jean will have a slouchy thigh and seat area, but it tapers into a skinny jean from the knee down, so these will actually look like a skinny on muscular legs. The extra room in the thighs will be a big benefit to you and instead of looking like a loose tapered jean, it will act like a skinny for you. Some loose tapered jeans that I recommend are:

G-Star Raw Type C

g-star-type-c-loose-tapered-jeans

These are a classic example of a loose tapered jean. Giving extra room in the thighs and tightening up around the ankles, creating the perfect skinny for muscular legs. You are lucky as these come in numerous washes and are one of G-Star’s popular fits.

Diesel Krooley

Diesel make a fantastic loose tapered jean, the Krooley, and it comes in numerous, authentic looking washes. Lucky for you guys, it’s a popular cut in their Jogg Jeans too, so you can have that extra stretch and comfort!

Levi’s 541 Athletic Fit Jeans

I’ve included these jeans, not necessarily because they are a proper skinny jean, but because Levi’s have engineered a specific cut called the 541 Athletic Fit. These jeans are cut specifically for athletic guys with muscular legs, so they have a lot more room in them. These also come in a few various washes and will be great for the guys with the bigger muscles. You can shop these jeans online at Levi’s by clicking here.

Barbell Apparel

Now these jeans aren’t completely skinny, but they have some very slim skinny jeans available and the brand (as you guessed by the name) is made for athletes. They are cut for men with bigger thighs and butts, and a general muscular body, so you can be sure to get a pair of jeans that actually fit you and aren’t too tight in certain areas. The best thing is that we have partnered with the brand to give you 10% off your orders, so use the code THEJEANSBLOG at the checkout for 10% off! Shop Barbell Apparel here.

So, I truly hope this help you on your quest to finding a great fitting pair of skinny jeans! If you do need anymore advice, just leave a comment below and I will get back to you!

My son is a football player with very muscular thighs but a small waist and he is tall. His waist is 31 – 33. The inseam should be preferably 36 but he can go with 34.
Please suggest some brands to look at . I have noted the Diesel and Levi 541 in your post.
    Thanks

Forgot to mention that he would prefer a regular or relaxed fit. Most jeans are okay in the waist but will not go over his thigh or are too tight in that area.

Hi Pauline, you might want to look into the Levi’s athletic fit jeans then as they are designed for athletes with muscular thighs. Good luck!

The struggle is real! I just tried on 6 pairs of skinny jeans — all way too small for my muscular calves (I was pretty sure one pair was not giving to come off after I got them over my calves). This was a great read; I can now shop with confidence knowing I am not alone. #skinnyjeans #lovehate

I’m so glad it could help you! These options are mainly for the muscular thigh area, but they might work for calves too if they are wide enough!

Skinny jeans for bigger calves are a little more tricky, so I’d recommend choosing a straight leg cut as they will probably look skinny if his calves fit tightly in them. Good luck!

I’m glad Diesel Waykee works for you, it’s a nice cut! I will let you know if I find one very similar, but you can look on the Diesel website to see if there’s a cut that’s similar to it. Or did you mean from another brand?

Have you thought about getting them tapered or taken in around that area? Otherwise I’m thinking the slim fit isn’t really suitable as a skinny so you might need to try one of the fits I mentioned in the article. Good luck.

What about jeans for athletic women. Many have small waists but huge thighs and calves?

Hi, I will be writing a post on this for women soon, but I recommend something like a straight leg, but you might want to check out Levi’s BOLD Curve as they are designed for small waists and bigger hips/thighs. Good luck!

Hi! I definitely appreciate this list and the advice.

A matter of fact a couple of MBA students are attempting to launch a denim startup and would appreciate your help in filling out this 5-minute survey. The business idea targets this very issue.

I know this is more than a year old but do you realize G Star sells pants that can retail for up to 200$ and easily more?? Like I couldn’t think of one person who isn’t making 6 figures a year that could even afford those

Not to mention you only gave two examples lmao.

      Hi Charles,

3 examples were given at that time of what cuts would work and were available. With that type of build, the loose tapered or slim carrot is pretty much the only option unless you specifically choose body builders jeans.

Here at The Jeans Blog we are about giving people advice on the best quality denim and what is worth the money. G-Star and Diesel can be quite pricey, we’re well aware as were experts in denim and the brands, so yes, we realise, which is why we also included Levi’s as a cheaper option, but still good quality.

You don’t have to make 6 figures to buy premium denim though. It depends entirely what you like to spend your money on. There are plenty of people, myself included, who make the lower end of 5 figures, but still choose to save up and purchase premium denim jeans because they’re worth the investment. We’re not going to suggest a really cheap pair of jeans that fall apart and break after less than half a year, it’s not what we’re about, but everyone has their own opinions on what they choose to spend money on. Just look for a similar cut in something cheaper for yourself. That’s an easy fix. Thanks for stopping by.

So i want to get specific. My butt is bigger than most of the girls in my school which is why I wear skinny jeans. Ive played football and soccer so I have thick thighs and calves. I feel like tge skinny jeans I wear make my butt look square and I want them to sort if outline it. Not gay and 13. Currently wearing 28/30 super skinny black faded aeropostale

I would probably say go for smaller pockets, which is harder to find on men’s jeans, but a lot of women’s offer it. Smaller pockets should make it look rounder though and not square, it’s all down to their size and placement. I hope that helps!

I’m a large man (6ft 2) with an athletic build and very large thighs (probably around 27-30 inches).

I’m looking for fashionable jeans, skinny-ish but probably better to be slim fit.

    Do you have any suggestions?

If you are after a skinny fit, that actually fits guys with athletic, muscular or bodybuilder legs, then Kojo Fit have Ultra-Stretch Denim Jeans, which have a fit tailored for this body type.

A lot of fits leave the ankles baggy, Kojo Fit have a tapered ankle hugging fit.

The waist is stretchy to allow seasonal weight variations, without the bottom area getting saggy.

Check out http://www.wellbuiltapparel.com their jeans are actually designed for muscular legs. I’ve had several pairs off them and all you have to do is fill out a sizing form. Their customer service is A+ and I would definitely recommend. Also I think they have a sale on at the minute.
