The Denim Mini Skirt Trend

With early millennial fashion coming back in style, you can expect to see the denim mini skirt making a resurgence. Whether it be the reworked cut off denim skirts that were popular around the time or more tailored styles, they have reappeared on the scene on the likes of Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner.

Just like every revival, the denim mini skirts of today have been given a chic new update. Vetements has reworked vintage Levi’s that give a nod to the versions of the past with a modern new fit. That doesn’t leave the classic straight cut styles out of the picture either. MOTHER and One Teaspoon have kept to their signature lived in aesthetic by sticking with the distressed denim mini skirt that feel innate, yet can take you from the beach to the streets of Paris.

Smarter styles with clean hems have also popped up from the likes of R13. Usually known for their lived in denim, they have decided to take a different route for their take on the trend. Marc Jacobs has dabbled in the denim mini skirt trend as well, but decided to breathe a different life to his by giving a youthful spin with patches. What are your thoughts on the denim mini skirt? Are you excited to see it make a comeback and how would you style them? See some of the denim mini skirts that have recently popped up below. Which is your favorite? Let The Jeans Blog know!
