TV Personality and fashion designer, Whitney Port, left a salon after getting a mani-pedi in Beverly Hills, California a little while ago. It’s been a long time since I saw Whitney out in denim actually as I haven’t been following her since the show The Hills left TV, which is of course where she rose to fame. It’s good to see she’s still loving denim though.
Whitney wore a pair of vintage Levi’s jeans with a ripped up muscle tank and some Converse All Stars for the errands. Since this is a really casual, tomboy inspired outfit, I think she did a good job at keeping it feminine with the green envelope clutch and floral iPhone case. How many of you are loving your vintage Levi’s jeans though? And do you wear them in masculine ways, dressed down like this? Or do you prefer the more glam, Alessandra Ambrosio route?
When it comes to vintage Levi’s jeans for me, it’s always all about the wash. There’s some pairs of jeans that you can get without hardly any wear on them, then you get the other end of the scale which is completely bleached out and no wash left at all. I personally love the middle ground, which means a deeper blue is still left with lots of deep whiskering and fading.
