When I first saw this outfit on Jessica Alba as she was headed to a meeting at the Internal Environment Institute in Los Angeles, California on May 22nd 2014, I completely fell in love with it. Jess has always been one of my style icons when it comes to celebs who love premium denim. She dresses a lot like I do and everything is always so put together! The main thing that drew me towards this outfit though was the colour combination and fit. I’m all for pastels at the moment as they are perfect for Summer, so I think this ensemble is so light, pretty and fun at the same time, without being too overpowering.
So, what was she wearing? Jess wore a pair of 3×1 W3 High Rise Channel Seam Skinny Jeans in Wash No. 3 (I have these myself and they are amazing!) with a My Tribe Sleeveless Mesh Tunic in Sand. She then layered a lilac coat over the top, but unfortunately I don’t know the brand of it. For her accessories, she opted for the Louis Vuitton Soft Lockit Bag in Magnolia, a pair of House of Harlow 1960 Carmen sunglasses in Tortoise and some Jenni Kayne Suede d’Orsay Flats in Natural Linen, finished off with a lilac belt to match.
Since I adored this outfit so much, I’ve put together this get the look post for you here on The Jeans Blog, including the designer items she chose and similar options for those of you who are on a budget and not looking to break the bank. You can see both of the looks below in the collages, but which one do you like the most? I would love for you to let me know!
